Lỗi 1: Thiếu “that” sau động từ

Giải thích:
Trong cấu trúc này, “that” là liên từ bắt buộc để giới thiệu mệnh đề danh từ. Học viên Việt Nam thường bỏ “that” vì trong tiếng Việt không có từ tương đương rõ ràng. Tuy nhiên, trong văn viết formal IELTS, việc giữ “that” là chuẩn mực ngữ pháp.

Lưu ý:

• Trong speaking hoặc informal writing, native speakers có thể bỏ “that”, nhưng trong IELTS Academic Writing, nên giữ nguyên để đảm bảo độ chính xác ngữ pháp.
• Lỗi này làm giảm điểm Grammatical Range and Accuracy.

1. Bỏ “that” sau động từ – Lỗi phổ biến nhất do ảnh hưởng của tiếng Việt không có từ tương đương. Luôn nhớ: It is believed THAT + clause.
