“Personally, I believe that education is the key to success.”

Giải thích:
Khi viewpoint adverbial đặt ở đầu câu, BẮT BUỘC phải có dấu phẩy ngăn cách với mệnh đề chính. Đây là quy tắc ngữ pháp tiếng Anh chuẩn. Thiếu dấu phẩy khiến câu khó đọc và bị trừ điểm Grammatical Range and Accuracy.

Lưu ý:

• Dấu phẩy này không phải optional, mà là bắt buộc
• Áp dụng với TẤT CẢ các loại viewpoint adverbials ở đầu câu

Sử dụng “in my opinion” hoặc “I think” lặp đi lặp lại là lỗi phổ biến khiến bài viết monotonous (đơn điệu) và thiếu variety. IELTS Band 7+ yêu cầu đa dạng về ngôn ngữ và cấu trúc. Thay vào đó, học viên cần sử dụng nhiều loại viewpoint adverbials khác nhau.

Lưu ý:

• Giới hạn “in my opinion” và “personally” chỉ 1-2 lần trong toàn bài Writing Task 2
• Thay thế bằng: from a … perspective, arguably, clearly, ideally

Cụm từ chuẩn là “From a/an [adjective] perspective”, không phải “in”, “on”, hay “by”. Đây là collocation cố định trong tiếng Anh. Sử dụng sai giới từ là lỗi ngữ pháp cơ bản ảnh hưởng đến điểm số.

Lưu ý:

• Luôn dùng “FROM” với “perspective/standpoint/viewpoint/point of view”

Giải thích:
Viewpoint adverbials thường đặt ở:

1. Đầu câu (phổ biến nhất) – có dấu phẩy sau
2. Sau subject, trước verb – có hoặc không có dấu phẩy
3. Cuối câu (ít phổ biến) – không có dấu phẩy trước

Đặt viewpoint adverbial xen giữa subject và complement (như các ví dụ sai) khiến câu không tự nhiên và khó hiểu.

• Vị trí an toàn nhất: ĐẦU CÂU với dấu phẩy
